Project Title: AuraQuote
Category: Operations & AI Workflow Automation
Live URL: https://auraquote.base44.app
An Apple-inspired visual quoting and field operations engine that converts site photos into profit-guarded estimates, scheduled visits, and dispatched crew work orders in under 60 seconds.
The Purpose & Story
Contractors in field services—pressure washing, junk removal, landscaping, and detailing—lose over half their online leads to friction. Standard "Contact Us" forms force homeowners to wait 24 to 48 hours for a basic ballpark, while business owners waste hours driving out to quote unqualified jobs.
AuraQuote eliminates that delay entirely. Homeowners get immediate pricing transparency without phone tag, while the business owner's margin remains strictly protected behind an automated operations hub.
The System Workflow
Front-End Customer Experience (Design & UX):
Zero-Friction Intake: Visitors either upload a site photo or click one of three pre-verified sample jobs to trigger instant computer-vision extraction of surface area, volume, and accessibility.
Dynamic Price Recalibration: Interactive switches (e.g., gated access, eco-friendly treatments) instantly update the estimate using transparent, forward-calculated pricing.
Apple Wallet Booking Pass: The estimate transitions into a tactile pass with a 7-day price guarantee, integrated time-slot reservation, and one-tap zero-auth Google Calendar synchronization.
Mobile-First Layout: Engineered with clean horizontal thumb scrolling, safe-area clearance, and responsive glassmorphic cards.
Owner Automation Engine (Operational Depth):
Live Profit Matrix: Business owners configure base fees, per-unit rates, crew hourly costs, and margin floors. Changing labor costs or surcharges recalibrates live estimates instantly without code.
Autonomous Dispatch Pipeline: Booked visits immediately push to the live pipeline, schedule automated follow-up SMS nudges, and hold crew schedule windows.
Dynamic Equipment Manifests: Automatically generates tool, vehicle, and consumable checklists tailored to the specific service (e.g., rotary surface cleaners and extension reels for pressure washing vs. backpack blowers and yard bags for landscaping).
Fulfillment & Accounting: Generates clean, isolated print-ready crew work orders and formal tax invoices featuring scannable mobile payment QR codes that route directly to live receipt verification.
Built end-to-end on Base44, connecting front-end customer acquisition directly to back-office execution without external middleware or brittle third-party connectors.

I noticed Creative freelancers, video editors, and social agencies running monthly retainers lose hours of margin every week chasing scattered feedback across WhatsApp/Slack, manually updating credit spreadsheets, and absorbing unbilled "just one more quick edit" scope creep.
I maximize the opportunity of the Base44 challenge to build SlateOS: Built entirely on Base44, SlateOS is a dual-view Retainer Operating System that unifies agency production and client approvals into one automated pipeline:
AI Brief-to-Production Engine (Brief Studio): Clients paste a messy voice-note transcript or raw campaign idea. SlateOS automatically structures the deliverable, selects the aspect ratio (9:16, 4:5), generates 3 high-retention opening hooks + full platform captions, estimates credit cost, and pushes the asset directly into the pipeline.
Automated Scope-Creep Guard (Approval Studio): Every deliverable tracks revision rounds against the client's retainer allowance (e.g., 2 of 2 Free Used). When a client attempts to submit an out-of-scope revision, SlateOS intercepts the request and presents a 1-click $75 Extra Revision Add-On, turning lost production hours into protected revenue.
1-Click Greenlight & Credit Deduction: Clicking Approve & Auto-Schedule automatically deducts the asset's credit cost from the client's monthly retainer burn-rate bar, locks in the next publishing slot on the Content Calendar, and logs the event in the live Automation Activity feed.
Dual-Persona Experience: Features an instant top-bar switcher between Agency Command and Client Portal (which dynamically adapts navigation and permissions), alongside a 1-click Reset Demo Data button for seamless testing.
I bring solution to our pain, What do you guys think?
The Prop Room: prop rental and shoot planning, built with Base44
* Description:
The Prop Room is a playful prop-rental and shoot-planning web app for photographers, stylists, art directors and brands planning shoots.
The problem: Choosing props is visual, but rental catalogues aren’t. People imagine how isolated objects will look together, then rebuild item lists, quantities, costs and prep notes in separate tools.
* What it does
Collection: 16 props with filters, search, detail views and a tray with live daily totals.
Canvas: a scene editor with drag, resize, rotate, flip, one-step layering, per-object locking, snapping, undo/redo, background colours, PNG export, sharing and presentation mode.
Scene Stylist (AI): use, mood, budget and an optional brief become a catalogue-valid, budget-checked scene that opens straight into the canvas. Prices come from app data, not model text, and there’s a curated fallback plus an honest no-match state.
Inspiration and My Scenes: ready-made templates and saved, named scenes.
* Automation
One scene drives everything. Quantities and dates recalculate the daily and period estimate. A prep checklist is generated from the selected props (lighting power, backdrop support, fragile items, furniture access), and only the affected checks reset when the scene changes. The scene also produces a print-ready shoot pack and a calendar (ICS) file. Inquiries are saved as their own snapshot, so later edits never silently change a submitted request. Planning that usually takes a spreadsheet, a calculator and a checklist happens automatically while you compose.
* Process
Figma first. A brand guide came from a reference palette, with Stack Sans Notch and Stack Sans Text. Prop imagery was generated, cut out and art-directed, and desktop and mobile screens were designed and revised by hand. The approved designs were then built for real in Base44 and refined through rounds of side-by-side checks against Figma and real interaction testing at 1440, 390 and 320 px. The landing page’s brand film was made in Higgsfield with Seedance 2.0.
