The Daily Detach is Design's newspaper, built entirely in Figma Make â styled as a classic broadsheet, powered by live data.
It fetches the latest stories from Product Hunt, Shortcut (Figma's blog), Muzli, and couple of Substack accounts for now.
Content flows into a multi-page layout with the feel of ink on paper â complete with WebGL/Three.js page-turn animation that make browsing feel physical.
Traditionally, newspapers featured others things too, like jobs. Those are there too as "Classifieds"!
Under the hood, Supabase handles source aggregation, while the Product Hunt API delivers the day's top launch.
An artefact of today's design industry, with a touch of past.
