ASH & PETAL: The Broken Empire

Episode 1: "The Monster in the Briar"

📖 Series Synopsis

ASH & PETAL: The Broken Empire is a dark romantic fantasy micro-series set in a sundered realm where demons rule an empire of volcanic ash and human slaves, while the primeval Everbloom Sanctum remains the last living sanctuary of the fairies.

When Prince Malakor—the most feared, overpowered warrior of the Caldera—crosses the border hunting an ancient drake, the forest’s Moon-Iron wards extinguish his hellfire. Trapped inside a colossal subterranean root cage, he expects execution. Instead, he meets Fayra: a fearless fairy healer who looks at his fangs and bleeding wounds and sees not a monster, but someone suffocating in loneliness. Their forbidden bond will ignite a three-realm revolution to overthrow tyranny and liberate all enslaved species.

🎬 Episode 1: "The Monster in the Briar"

In this 100-second pilot, we enter the subterranean briar prison where Prince Malakor is held. Through striking cinematic flashbacks, we witness the tragic weight of his supreme power: a prince who commanded armies and slaughtered dragons, yet lived in absolute solitude where no one dared to love him. While hostile fairy guards tremble at his bars, the fearless healer Fayra descends with warm broth and medicine. Malakor turns away with aristocratic arrogance, but her gentle defiance cracks his obsidian walls for the very first time.
