Starting footage: I generated my car park shots with Seedance inside invideo, including a 15s clip of a man walking in, snapping, dancing and pointing at the camera. The opening clip reuses the same agent-built Glass Ghost effect on a second shot (“Snap glass live” timeline), with added Return Start / Return Duration controls so the glass appears on his snap and leaves when he points.
What I asked the agent to do: set up a vertical timeline, place my clip and build a custom effect that compares each frame to the empty car park to find the person (a clean-plate matte). Then build a liquid glass refraction effect on top, guided by a reference image of a see through glass sculpture.
What I refined myself: I tuned the matte (Fill Holes 35 → 20), then adjusted the glass controls: Vanish Start 7.0s → 7.7s, Glass Brightness 0.25 → 0.03 and Refraction 0.04 → 0.01. On the final clip, the glass appears on his snap and leaves when he points at the camera. All controls stay live and editable on the timeline.
