Readlinx is now live on the App Store and Google Play!
It's truly valuable for me to finally be able to share Readlinx, which we've been working on for a long time.
Readlinx is a mobile application developed to make reading habits more fun, trackable, and sustainable.
The idea for the application came from Nurettin Dönmez.
I, Emirhan Özkaya, took on the mobile application side of this idea, the software development process, and the technical infrastructure.
In Readlinx, users can create their own digital libraries, track their reading times and page progress, and make their reading habits more motivating with a points, badge, and task system.
Families can also track their children's reading progress, teachers can create class-based tasks and announcements, and students can manage their reading progress more systematically.
With individual reading, family tracking, class management, social sharing, collaborative reading rooms, and a gamification system, we tried to design Readlinx not just as a "book tracking application," but as a platform that brings reading culture to the digital world.
Technically, the application was developed using Flutter & Firebase infrastructure. During this process, I brought together many structures such as Firebase Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, notification system, multilingual structure, security rules, ISBN barcode scanning, book metadata services, and social feed.
This project was more than just an application development process for me.
Seeing an idea transform into a product step by step, solving bugs, shaping screens one by one, completing store processes, and finally seeing it live was a truly wonderful experience.
Today, I am happy to share that Readlinx is live on the App Store and Google Play.
