Something underdiscussed about the current pace of model releases: access itself isn't always stable.
Frontier models have had rollouts paused or restricted after launch, sometimes for safety review, sometimes for regulatory reasons. If a workflow depends entirely on one model from one provider, that's a single point of failure most teams haven't actually planned for.
A practical habit: build the integration layer so swapping the underlying model is a config change, not a rewrite. You may never need it. The teams that do need it usually needed it on short notice.

Hardware shifts are the ultimate filter for premium brands, if they don't adjust for the Duo format asap, they're telling their Duo users they just dont care.
