My favorite use of vibe coding isn’t building apps.
It’s building tools for myself.
It lets me shape each tool around exactly how I think and work, instead of changing my process to fit someone else’s software.
The limitations of existing tools used to be one of the biggest bottlenecks in my creative work.
Now when something gets in the way I can change it.

Over the past few days, I was building my ‘totally unique, incredibly useful’ app for vibe coders and experts and was almost done with it.
Then I opened Base44's workspace and discovered something painfully familiar. 😂
Expert discovery, project tools, support workflows... basically a huge part of what I'd been building.
But I had a few extra ideas in mind:
- Automatically turning detected issues into actionable support tickets.
- Matching each ticket with available experts based on their skills and rates.
- Keeping communication, task status, and progress tracking inside each simple ticket.
- Handling payments through an internal token system, with funds held until the work is completed and approved.
The idea was to make the whole process seamless: find a problem → find an expert → get it fixed → approve the work → release the payment.
But honestly, these features probably make more sense as an extension of an existing platform than as a whole new web app.
So, @Base44, maybe there's a feature idea here for you? 👀
Moral of the story: do your competitor research BEFORE you build the entire thing. Don't be like me. 😅
