🚀 FORESIGHT — Demand Forecasting & Inventory Intelligence

FORESIGHT is a data-driven inventory intelligence solution designed to help businesses forecast product demand, identify potential stockouts, and make smarter inventory decisions.

The project combines data cleaning, demand forecasting, inventory risk scoring, and interactive analytics in one workflow.

Key features: • Data processing and validation across sales, SKU master, calendar, and inventory datasets. • A 6-week demand forecasting model using the Seasonal Naive approach. • Inventory risk analysis to identify products requiring immediate replenishment. • Stockout risk alerts and prioritization to support inventory planning. • Sales-at-risk estimation to help businesses understand potential losses. • A FastAPI backend and interactive Streamlit dashboard.

Tech Stack: Python, Pandas, Forecasting, FastAPI, Streamlit, Data Analytics.

Model Performance: Achieved a WAPE of 11.80% on the evaluated dataset.
