Finally updating our portfolio and adding one of my favourite projects 🤭
Remento is a memory preservation app, think recorded family stories, turned into a keepsake book. They came to us in late 2023 with a Christmas campaign and a three-week window to find, contact and hire creators before the holidays.
We crushed it and what started as a one-time sprint turned into 16 months, 8 campaigns and 871 creators vetted.
That's the thing about trial runs, you never know what they're the beginning of.
Right?! The first campaign was for Christmas and it lasted 3 full weeks, the others either ran for 2-3 months or 1 month depending on what we were doing 😊 We basically adapted to Remento's goals and whatever date they wanted to focus on.
A three week window to find, vet, and hire influencers for a Christmas campaign sounds brutal. Was the bottleneck more about finding people who fit Remento's tone, or just the sheer speed of getting contracts signed in time?
Actually both! They already kind of knew their audience but the influencers they had collabed with before weren't the right fit, so we were kind of starting from scratch + finding as many people as possible who could post during Christmas and were willing to talk about Remento...
It started in January. My partner and I were planning trips for March and May, and suddenly realised we’d forgotten a movie we wanted to watch and a new Korean place we wanted to try. Big plans: fine. Small ones: gone.
So I built us a shared space for all those “we should try this someday” ideas. You save them together, drag one onto a day, and it becomes an actual plan.
I made it on my own: product, design, the build with Lovable, the website and the blog - Framer. 60 builds, a few App Store rejections, and one timezone bug that sent us to squash at 2am instead of 2pm xD
And there are no photos inside, just Smooches characters. Because who calls their person by their actual name anyway? (or it's just me there, huh)
That furry hand holding the phone is a scroll-stopper. These characters would be so fun animated, even just a little wiggle when a wish turns into a plan. Huge congrats on the launch.
Packaging and custom Framer website design for Ubuntu Moves, a wellness brand inspired by the belief that “I am because we are.”
Earthy colors, expressive patterns, and bold typography bring its sense of connection into the physical and digital experience.
Thanks @Can Girgin for the Framer development💫
The olive shopping bag with the wordmark split around that circular emblem looks great in the warm light, and the big tonal arches printed behind it add movement without shouting.
