Kinana Films — Bilingual Film Production Website & Headless CMS (Laravel + React)
Production website and custom CMS for Kinana Films, an independent film production company in Malmö, Sweden, producing documentaries and fiction films screened at international festivals including Berlinale and Cleveland International Film Festival.
What I built (backend API, admin CMS and front end):
• JWT-secured Laravel REST API and DataTables admin panel powering a bilingual English / Arabic site
• Per-section headless CMS: home slider, about, our journey, mission and vision, team, FAQs, news, production stills, trailers and festival laurels
• Film catalogue with awards, files and portfolio pages, plus dynamic pages with a section builder and per-page SEO meta
• Multilingual content with language switcher (i18next), Leaflet maps and video playback
• Contact, project-proposal, newsletter and studio-visit request inboxes
• Admin UI/UX redesign verified with Playwright screenshot tests
Tech stack: Laravel, PHP, MySQL, React 19, TypeScript, Vite, Redux Toolkit, React Router, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Vercel.
