Almost lost a CLIENT over one dumb assumption❗ It wasn’t about... - deadlines. - pricing. - Or the edit. It was communication. I delivered exactly what I thought they wanted. Turns out... they expected something entirely different. And the worst part? They didn’t tell me, they just “ghosted.” 📌 Here’s what I learned: → Always confirm creative direction, visually, not just via text. → Send mockups or references early, even for small pieces. → Clients don’t always know how to explain what they want, That’s our job to decode. We saved the project eventually. But I’ll never forget how close I came to blowing it over something that basic. 💬 What’s one simple mistake that taught you a big lesson? Repost to help others ♻️

Having low self- esteem because I felt like I wasn't good enough for such project. It made me lose a valuable client at that time because I thought I was still a beginner and didn't actually need such client.

Although it teaches you a big lesson, that your confidence is very important infront of the client. That makes him/her trust you!
