City council decisions get formally voted on, and the Municipality of Bitola wanted that process to move online without losing the trust that comes with a public, verifiable vote.
This is a government system used to make binding civic decisions, so the bar for "good enough" sits much higher than for a typical business application.
Councillors sign in with individually assigned access, cast their vote on whichever agenda item is on the floor, and see the result tallied and recorded so it can be reviewed and verified afterward - no one, including whoever built the system, can quietly alter a result after the fact.
What I did - Built the application from the ground up. - Hardened the server it runs on and tightly scoped who can do what inside it (role-based access control). - Designed the underlying data so every vote leaves a clear, auditable trail - the most important engineering here is the part nobody ever sees.
