Bestiarum Mechanicum — 12th-Century Illumination Reimagined

I unearthed the Aberdeen Bestiary (c. 1200 AD), an 800-year-old English illuminated manuscript preserved in the University of Aberdeen digital collection. In the Middle Ages, monks meticulously cataloged real and mythical creatures using burnished gold leaf, rich mineral pigments, and ornate foliate borders. I created the "Bestiarum Mechanicum" custom Recraft V4 Style to bring this ancient sacred craft into direct collision with modern tech and luxury design. By rendering everyday items—like robot vacuums, drones, and streetwear—through the lens of 12th-century naturalists, the project documents a modern mythology that monks could never have imagined.

Volume 2 of Expeditione brings Ancient Egyptian civilization to life across five handcrafted scenes. Engineered with Blender, Three.js, and GSAP under strict performance budgets (~1MB per scene) for instant, login-free interactive learning. Reached over 70+ countries and classroom usage.
