LUNORA - From Kashmir to the World
My Role: Founder & Lead Brand Designer at Mughal's Mart, Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. Complete luxury brand identity & packaging design.
The Problem:
Kashmiri saffron is the world's most expensive spice, but local brands sell it in cheap plastic bags. Client needed a luxury look to sell in USA/UK at premium price.
My Solution:
Brand Strategy: Named it LUNORA - sounds luxury, royal, moonlight (like Kashmir's beauty). Royal Mughal touch.
Visual Identity: Matte Black + Rose Gold + Gold Foil for premium feeling. Minimal serif font. Embossed Mughal pattern border.
Packaging System:
Perfume: 50ml matte black bottle with copper cap for saffron perfume
Saffron: 1g glass jars with gold caps for retail
Box: Premium slide-out black box for gifting
Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma
Timeline: 5 days
Result:
Looks like a $100+ luxury brand
Ready for Shopify, Amazon, and retail in Dubai/USA/UK
Client can now charge 3x more
