Title: Overcoming the Drop: Courage Begins with One Step
Project Overview:
A 3D animated cinematic short following a skydiver conquering hesitation at the edge of an airplane door. The project captures the emotional transition from pure anxiety to exhilarating freedom as he takes the leap, glides through the clouds, and finally deploys his parachute at golden hour.
Workflow & CapCut Editing:
Visual Generation: Created consistent 3D Pixar/DreamWorks-style character animation scenes across multiple camera angles (close-ups, first-person POV through cloud layers, and wide landscape shots).
CapCut Post-Production: Seamlessly stitched the scenes, added dynamic camera shake and speed transitions during the freefall, synced motivational voiceover and immersive wind/engine SFX, and added on-screen kinetic typography to reinforce the core message.

Hiii! I joined the Contra x CapCut challenge, having never used CapCut AI before. I’d only ever edited videos manually.
After three days of struggling with prompts, inconsistent characters, and scenes that absolutely refused to cooperate, I finally found my story.
I'm working at my desk with my dogs when an alien crashes into my life and invites me to LA. We travel across the universe, I get beamed onto a stage, and for a moment, I'm living the dream.
Then I turn into an alien.
And get kicked out because NO ALIENS ALLOWED.
All that intergalactic travel to technically make it to LA. 😂
Hey! Love your entry, the concept is so fun! Quick friendly reminder though—just to make sure you're fully eligible for the campaign rewards, please don't forget to also share your video on your social media (TikTok/Instagram Reels/X) and drop the link right here in your Contra...
A modern landing page animation designed for a self-discovery and personal growth platform. This scrolling website concept transforms the browsing experience through smooth motion, immersive transitions, and a clean visual hierarchy that guides users from an emotional hero section into an interactive overview of the product. The animation is crafted to make storytelling feel natural while reinforcing the brand's premium identity.
Moving from an emotional hero into a product overview gives the story a useful direction. I’d make sure the essential explanation and CTA remain available with reduced motion too, so the experience still makes sense when someone skips the animation or prefers a calmer browsing experience.
Built for my friend Stanislav Pogorskii, a full-stack developer, it connects his background in games journalism, his work as a Laravel developer, and his next steps in game development.
Switch on the radio. Open a console. Explore the workspace, browse real projects and published articles, or step onto the balcony. Each interaction reveals something about the person behind the work.
As usual, the process involved a few different tools, hehe. I developed and iterated on the project locally using my own CLI setup, pushed it to GitHub, then brought it into Base44, where I connected a CRM system.
The experience also leads to a practical next step: a short project quiz that turns a visitor’s answers into an editable email draft.
Personal details spark curiosity. Real work builds confidence. A useful interaction can help you see who you are and where you could go next.
