Here's a small behind-the-scenes from Apocrypha.
One of the core ideas behind this project is that AI is not the final artist, it's the creative catalyst.
For each card, I first generate a visual concept with Envato AI to explore composition, symbolism and atmosphere. That image becomes a briefing rather than the final artwork.
From there, a real artist reinterprets the concept entirely by hand, bringing their own style, anatomy, imperfections and artistic decisions into the piece. The final card is then designed around that illustration, combining graphic design, lore and visual identity into a finished collectible artifact.
This workflow is exactly what Human by Design means to me.
AI accelerates exploration.
Humans create meaning.
Apocrypha isn't about replacing artists. It's about building a system where AI expands creative possibilities while giving artists a new starting point to transform into something genuinely original.

Work in progress for a sport graphics package for a "Blitzball League" themed after Final Fantasy X. Plenty to do still, but the bones are strong. More to come.

This was not a one-prompt wonder.
