I've been on Contra for years now (i suspect since the early days) and have had a lot of work from it over the years, including long-term clients.
I landed my first clients fairly early (within a couple of months, I'd say) into using it but here are some tips if...
The freelancer starter pack for Contra that nobody gives you.
📚 Cuared portfolio with similar work than the clients that you want to get.
⏳ Save a couple minutes or hours a day to engage with the community and apply to Contra Jobs.
📄 Contract (protect yourself before you need to)
📊 Presentation template to stop rebuilding every one from scratch.
💸 Price list (custom quotes, yes. Starting from zero every time, no.)
📋 Client onboarding questionnaire (get the info before the chaos)
✉️ A few email templates for proposals, feedback reminders, and awkward payment conversations.

Great list. I'd add a simple handoff guide for the client, so they can keep the site updated after launch without coming back for every small change.
