A quick showcase of many of my recent Rive animation projects.
This is my submission for the Rive × Contra Character Challenge.
Since the video is short, I'm quickly showcasing a variety of projects I've worked on , from interactive mascots and AI-ready characters to viseme-based lip sync, data binding, state machines, and UI interactions.
Some projects feature just a few animation states, while others include more advanced systems with many interactive states and developer-ready workflows.

I built an assistant character in Rive that's wired into the product's actual state — not a loop on top of the UI, but a face that responds in real time. It blinks and breathes while idle, leans in the moment you start typing, jumps when the answer lands and winces when something goes wrong.
Every expression is driven by data binding, so the character mirrors what the assistant is actually doing — part of the product, not a sticker on top of it.

How hot is too hot for a ginger?
Currently working on a submission for the Rive x Contra Character Challenge. Building off an old idea, simply type in a city, and the animations will be changed based on that. Then you'll know how hot a ginger will get!
And guess what? This respects Reduce Motion setting in your OS*. I'm very glad to get this feature in, and it was really straightforward to set up.
The plan will be to link up with a weather API and the whole thing will run live on a website sometime in the near future.
For now, last few days to push and polish this!

Entering Somying into the Rive Interactive Character Challenge!
Somying is a project I've been building over time — not just a character that plays an animation and calls it a day, but one with her own little world that users can actually interact with.
Inside the room, everything is designed to be interactive — from clicking and dragging to gamepad support, with real-time clock references that automatically shift the room's atmosphere from day to night.
The character, animations, and all interactive systems are built entirely in Rive. The code side was developed with AI assistance to handle the integration and communication with Rive.
