"Start Free Trial" above the fold targets the logical brain. But buying decisions are emotional. You're asking for commitment before creating psychological safety. 03. Your social proof addresses the wrong fear. Logos build credibility. But what actually kills conversions is unaddressed risk anxiety. Users need to see their specific fear named and dissolved — not a Fortune 500 logo. Good copy doesn't describe your product. It mirrors the exact cognitive state of someone who is ready to buy.
