I created and manage ScholarScore’s searchable scholarship research database, which currently contains more than 1,700 state-specific and national opportunities gathered from public sources.
Each opportunity is independently researched and converted into a standardized record containing eligibility requirements, award information, deadlines, application status, required materials, location restrictions, renewal details, competitiveness indicators, source notes, and direct application links.
I also developed the database structure and user-facing search experience, allowing students to filter opportunities by state, education level, field of study, eligibility factors, award amount, application status, and other relevant criteria.
This ongoing project demonstrates large-scale web research, source verification, data standardization, taxonomy development, quality control, and the translation of complex information into an accessible decision-support resource for students and families.
