I’ve been making pixel games since I was a teen in GameMaker Studio, always wishing I had an easier way to create sprites and bring my imagination to life (or even insert myself/friends). That’s why I built Sprite-ify, an app that turns any photo with a transparent background into a custom pixel sprite with animations and sprite sheet export. You can upload your own image or choose from presets like Lara Croft, Ziggy Stardust, or a Jellycat bunny. Some animations are still in progress, but I’m excited by what Figma Make can generate for skeletal rigs. Before, skeletal rigs felt out of reach, reserved for professionals with expensive tools.
