I created a series called “Victorian Scientific Engraving,” combining modern inventions with the detailed visual style of 19th-century scientific illustrations. My project reimagines robots, headphones, and futuristic technology as if they were documented by Victorian-era scientists. I chose this concept to explore the contrast between historical art and modern innovation. My goal was to create a cohesive collection that feels like an imaginary scientific archive from the past, showing how today’s technology might have been illustrated in the 1800s.
