Goal: High-CTR (Click-Through Rate) YouTube thumbnail designed to maximize visual tension and narrative intrigue.
Design Strategy & Execution
First-Person Perspective: Engineered an extreme depth-of-field effect using a prominent reaching hand, drawing the viewer's eye straight into the center of action.
Color Contrast: Used a stark color palette—placing a high-saturation red jacket against a desaturated blue arctic ice field—to ensure the subject pops on mobile screens.
Facial Emotion & Realism: Focused on intense facial expressions and detailed snow/ice textures to trigger immediate curiosity and urgency.
Visual Storytelling: Crafted a instantly recognizable "life-or-death" scenario featuring a celebrity likeness to drive high engagement without requiring text clutter.
