🎨 Print designers — I’d love your expertise!
I’m a digital designer who agreed to help a client with a small, last-minute print collateral project. One of their core brand colours is this vibrant electric indigo: #5E53FF. Any advice for getting bold hues like this to show accurately in print? Could this be a CMYK issue? I’d really appreciate your insights! 🔮
@Inga Café-Ruoff My go-to suggestion here would be to use a Pantone color if your client wants that vibrant electric indigo to show up accurately in print. Pantone spot colors are designed to reproduce bold hues with precision, which CMYK often struggles with, especially in blues and purples.
