Day 5/20 — Finding a remote job shouldn't feel like a full-time job.
You find a job that looks perfect.
You read through the description.
You start getting excited.
Then you discover...
The role isn't available in your location.
Or you don't meet a key requirement.
Or the job has already expired.
And sometimes, you're not even sure if the listing is legitimate.
After spending hours searching and applying, you start asking yourself:
Was this opportunity even worth my time?
And that's what got me thinking:
What if job seekers could know whether they're actually eligible before spending time applying?
That's the idea behind this product
A smarter remote job discovery platform that helps users:
🔍 Discover verified remote opportunities
🎯 Understand how well they match a role
✅ See why they're a match
📄 Check their application readiness
📊 Track applications and know what to do next
But for me, the interesting part isn't just building another job board.
The real product challenge is helping people make better decisions.
How do we clearly show eligibility?
How do we explain why someone is or isn't a good match?
How do we help users focus on opportunities actually worth their time?
Because finding a job isn't just about discovering opportunities.
It's about knowing which opportunities are worth applying for.
That's the product idea I explored for Day 5.
