I run a YouTube channel and I kept wanting those cute, jittery, analog-feeling doodle text title cards you see all over socials. But making them meant the iPad, or After Effects, or fiddly custom plugins too much friction every time. I also wanted it in my own handwriting, from my own hand.
So for the Config Makeathon I built scribble ā you write in the air with your finger, and your handwriting becomes a hand-drawn, animated doodle you can drop over any video. You perform it, it animates itself.

What it does?
ā šļø Draw with your finger ā pinch in the air to write, your webcam is the canvas
ā š¬ Your strokes auto-animate with a hand-drawn "jitter" ā write-on, then a living analog wiggle loop
ā šØ Pick color, thickness, and wiggle by pinching and dragging ā all in the air, no UI to click
ā ā Hold up a palm to reset, drop your hands to finish ā the whole thing is gesture-driven
ā šļø Export a transparent PNG sequence you can overlay on any footage, in any editor
How I built it?
ā š§© Figma Make for the whole app ā I treated the first prompt as a full brief (goal, structure, constraints) so the architecture came out right before touching the details.
ā šļø MediaPipe Hands for gesture tracking ā pinch to draw, palm to reset, all mapped to hand landmarks
ā š The "jitter" is pure looping math, not random noise, so the animation tiles seamlessly

Memento - OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) App
I built Memento for the #ConfigMakeathon using #FigmaMake, #FigmaMCP, and #Cursor.
The problem I wanted to solve : Millions of people worldwide live with OCD and anxiety and as someone touched by it, I know the struggle daily. Checking things (like closing windows or turning off lights) causes intense stress and repetitive doubts. Most tools don't help your brain remember the action, so I wanted to make the experience feel mindful, visual, and safe.
In Memento, you cannot just tap to complete a task. You must press and hold for 3 seconds. This UX choice forces mindfulness and anchors your brain to the action.
The project includes:
- 3-Second Verification: Press and hold to anchor your brain and remember the action.
- Meditation & Shortcuts: Quick access to "SOS Calm" to reduce anxiety instantly.
- My Victories: A dedicated space to track your success and feel safe.
- Visual & Audio Proof: Live photo and instant voice recording for peace of mind.
- Calming Visual Design: A clean, high-contrast palette with soft greys and dark green to banish stressful colors (like red) and minimize anxiety.
The goal was to keep the interface clean and focused, while adding just enough feedback to make the user feel completely safe and calm.

SPOT THE BOT, a gallery game about telling human creativity from a machine's
The problem. AI can now create almost anything, and for designers that's not abstract. The fear is that taste, judgment, the human "tell" in a piece of work no longer counts for anything. So instead of arguing about it, we made a game out of it.
The idea. Everyone gets the same prompt ("give beige a personality," "what keeps you up at 3am"), the same fixed kit of pieces, and 30 seconds. So does an AI. Every tile lands on a gallery wall, and players vote: which one is the bot? Then comes the reveal: who fooled you, and who you fooled. The constraint is the whole point. When everyone has identical pieces, the only thing separating the tiles is taste, wit, and choice, the human stuff. Right now the bot fools 72% of players, and every round feeds that number: a live, accumulating measure of where human judgment still holds the line.
The build & workflow. Designed and built end to end in the Figma ecosystem: the editor, the real-time multiplayer rounds (MAKE, VOTE, REVEAL), and the MUSEUM of every player-made tile. The asset kits (risograph, torn paper, duct tape, liquid metal, and more) were generated with Weavy.ai.
It's recursive by design: a game about spotting machine-made art, built with the machine's own creative tools. The medium is the argument.

Figma X Contra challenge
Most journaling tools flatten memory into text boxes. Threadline turns memory into something you can see and touch. You enter a few real moments from your life, choose a thread color for each, and weave them into a canvas. The heavy ones show up as knots.
You can open a knot, sit with what it carried, and reframe it in your own words. Not to erase it.. just to hold it differently. When the thread softens, the memory stays. It just doesn't pull the same way. At the end you're left with a woven cloth made from your own story.
I built this for people who carry things they don't always know how to say out loud. Grief, change, loss, starting over.. those don't fit neatly into a journal entry. Sometimes it's tangled. Sometimes you don't know where to start. Threadline gives that a form: memories become threads, weight becomes tension, unresolved moments become knots, and reframed meaning becomes a gold stitch.
The flow: add your moments ā choose thread colors ā generate your Threadline ā open a knot ā reframe it ā keep or share the cloth.
It's quiet on purpose. No streaks, no metrics, no gamification. Just a place to put what you've been carrying.
And honestly, if you're carrying something right now: you don't have to carry it perfectly. That's the whole point of this thing.
