I’m curious — what makes copy actually feel human to you?
As I’ve been practicing copywriting, I’ve noticed that good copy isn’t always about using impressive words. Sometimes the simplest sentence works better because it sounds like something a real person would actually say.
I’m currently working on improving my skills in product descriptions, social media copy, and promotional writing, and one thing I’m trying to focus on is making my writing clear, natural, and useful rather than overly salesy.
For the experienced copywriters here: what’s one thing you learned that genuinely improved your writing?
I’d love to hear different perspectives.
