Aubade — a client-side local-library music player built with the File System Access API. Point it at your music folder and it reads tags/artwork straight from your files: albums, artists, playlists, synced lyrics, a now-playing screen that takes its color from the cover art. This is the Catalogue section, designed to showcase the label's latest releases through a more editorial and immersive approach.
Instead of relying on a standard card grid, I explored a composition built around oversized typography, strong imagery, asymmetry and intentional negative space.
The idea is to make each release feel like more than just an item in a catalogue.
A website can be functional without feeling generic—and for a music label with a strong identity, the browsing experience should be part of the world the label is creating.

Hardest brief in product design: make someone feel sound through a screen.
You can't play audio on a Dribbble shot. You can't hear a beat in a portfolio scroll. So the entire visual system has to carry the emotional weight of the thing you actually can't show.
The wave logo is clean but I'll say stacked horizontal lines for audio brands is becoming the new "gradient circle for AI startups." It works here because the weight and spacing match the typographic mood. But the concept alone won't differentiate much in 2026.
