The fractured mirror effect on the faces gives it a shattered stained glass quality that fits "princesa de la luna" better than a straight portrait would. Good use of the black negative space to let those fragments breathe.

The main goal was to make a Blender 3D scene look like a movie keyframe or actual concept art. This particular scene is 99% raw Blender rendering, with very minimal touch-ups in Photoshop. Particle systems and a few tricks with alpha blending can work absolute miracles.
