I made a quick video pointing out that Contra’s default agreement is very client-friendly—which makes sense—but the indemnification clause might be more than some independents are comfortable with.
This isn’t legal advice (I’m not a lawyer ⚠️), but I do think it’s worth reading that section closely. You might be taking on more risk than you realize, especially around third-party claims and IP.

@Ben Huffman Yeah totally. I think the standard contract makes sense given Contra's position. I just want to make sure people are actually reading/understanding what it is. A contract builder in the future would be super awesome, but that seems far out. Keep up the great work at Contra!
