When a section relies on animation, I now prototype it in Figma motion instead of writing it out. A simple prototype gives the client and the developer the same clear reference: less back and forth, more precise feedback and a smoother build. Here’s the hero animation for a recent landing page, shown as a working prototype.

Handing devs a working Figma motion prototype instead of a written spec is such a smart move, that red hero animation reads clearly 🔥

100%! Showing a motion prototype saves so many rounds of back-and-forth explaining visual timing. Nothing beats giving the dev exact motion references straight from the design phase

Exactly, and it helps both ways. The client approves the feeling, the developer gets the timing, and nobody has to translate between the two. Thanks Aysha!

Prototyping the hero animation instead of describing it saves so much back and forth. As a Webflow developer I'd take a motion reference like this over a paragraph of notes any day.

Great to hear that from the developer side. That’s exactly why I started doing it: a short motion reference removes most of the guesswork before the build starts.
