1.The Last Garden Keeper

Inspired by The Unicorn Rests in a Garden, from the Unicorn Tapestries, from The Metropolitan Museum of Art. I imagined what the unicorn’s world might look like centuries after humanity had disappeared. The peaceful garden becomes a symbol of nature surviving after the fall of civilization, with the unicorn as the last guardian of beauty and hope.

2.The Last Temptation

Inspired by Heinrich Aldegrever’s The Temptation of Adam and Eve, from The Story of Adam and Eve (1540) from The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The original artwork shows Adam and Eve beside the Tree of Knowledge, with Eve holding the forbidden fruit and the serpent appearing in the tree. I reimagined the moment as the aftermath of their choice, expanding the scene into a world filled with fear, shame, guilt and the consequences of sin. Adam holds the red apple while Eve kneels beneath the tree, surrounded by a devastated world, frightened people and animals. The divine presence above represents judgment, while the ruined world represents the lasting consequences of one decision.

3.The Last Commander

Inspired by a 15th-century Italian Armet from The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Instead of simply recreating the helmet, I imagined the world in which it might have been worn. A crowned commander on a white horse stands silently between two opposing armies after a devastating battle. Smoke, destruction, abandoned weapons and a burning fortress show the human cost of war. The commander is not attacking — he is witnessing the consequences of the conflict, turning the armor into a symbol of power, war and responsibility
