Need some honest advice.
I've been applying to projects on Contra for a while now, but I still haven't received a single "Client viewed your application" notification.
I'm not even talking about getting hired yet, I just can't figure out why my applications aren't being viewed at all.
Has anyone else gone through this? What helped you start getting noticed?
Would really appreciate any advice.
A lot of it comes down to profile completeness and project quality before the application. Clients often skim the profile first before even opening the message. Make sure your featured projects actually show process, not just final screens.

I've been having the same issue and I'm really struggling to keep my profile moving forward. I comment on posts, write case studies, and apply for roles. I spend at least 20 minutes per application checking that I've given a meaningful pitch, such as their challenge, how to...

🛍️ Luxury e-commerce
They all look completely different, and that's on purpose. A site selling a data product has to earn trust fast. A luxury store has to make you slow down and want something. A law firm site has to feel safe. Same craft, five different jobs 🙂
