Most dashboard projects fail before the first chart is built.

My process now:
1️⃣ Scope page: We align on business questions, KPIs, metric definitions, and data sources.
2️⃣ Mock-up with dummy data: I design the layout and logic first, align with stakeholders, and validate the structure before touching real data.
3️⃣ Build + support window: After approval, I implement and include a structured feedback phase.
Dashboards don’t fail because of visuals.

Great point. Financial dashboards really benefit from clarity and trust over visual aggression. Separating analysis from execution is a smart approach — it helps users scan quickly and make decisions with less cognitive load.
Testing not so convenient interactions for a dashboard, just for fun. Choreographing animations on Claude sometimes gets tricky.
Really interesting interaction concept. Designing these kinds of motion-driven dashboards is fun but I can imagine getting the choreography right with Claude prompts takes some iteration.
