EDGGY: THE YEMITRIUM Is an original animated micro-series created entirely in Cantina.

The story follows Edward “Edggy” Graves, a tired and sarcastic young egg living in Crackside, Las Veggas. His little sister, Clarita, suffers from a mysterious incurable illness that causes her to produce rare purple crystals called Yemitrium whenever she sneezes. Desperate to save her, Edggy secretly sells the material through the underground market to fund a possible cure.

For the 120-second pilot, I created the full universe from scratch inside Cantina: original characters, locations, objects, wardrobe, props, dialogue, and story. The world is built around playful egg-inspired references—including $YEMA currency, YOLK sneakers, OVO stores, Omelettice, Dr. Erneggsto, Crackside, and Yemitrium — while maintaining a darker cinematic story.

The pilot mixes drama, dark comedy, action, and internet culture, ending with Edggy reaching his breaking point and beginning to reveal the mysterious dark form hidden inside his shell.

The concept is designed to expand beyond the pilot through serialized episodes, comedic side stories, character interactions, crossovers, and community-created clips. Each character can also exist independently as an interactive Cantina character, allowing viewers to chat with them and create new stories within the EDGGY universe.

Created in 9:16, 120 seconds, using Cantina’s Viral style, with multiple iterations focused on pacing, transitions, sound, character consistency, and cinematic storytelling. Enjoy, — Braulio Cardenas.
