“If you’ve co-founded a brand, why are you still doing design work?”
I get this question a lot.
For me, design was never something I “moved on” from. It was my first love and it’s still the way I think, solve problems and build businesses.
Co-founding Gharko, a premium home décor brand, didn’t pull me away from design. It forced me to level up:
• I saw how a homepage actually affects sales.
• I learned how photography, copy and layout change trust.
• I had to design with inventory, logistics and margins in mind.
Now I work as an Independent Design Director for SaaS & ecommerce teams.
I get to bring both sides to the table:
the craft of digital design + the reality of running a brand.
