I spent 4 years in live chat support. Here's what I learned:
Most customers ask the same 10 questions.
"What's the price?"
"Are you open on Sunday?"
"Do you have a slot this week?"
The problem: a business owner answers these by hand, all day, every day. And if they reply late, the customer simply books somewhere else.
The fix I now build: an AI chatbot trained only on the business's own prices, services and policies. It answers those 10 questions instantly, 24/7, and hands the tricky ones to a human.
It doesn't replace good support. It frees people up for the conversations that actually need them.
