Hi there👋, just experimented with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, and I’m genuinely impressed. I connected an MCP server to automate my Google Tasks through natural conversation. 💡 Key insight: it’s not just about smarter AI, it’s about giving it the right connections. MCPs let LLMs integrate with virtually any service - databases, CI/CD pipelines, internal tools, and more. This tech is incredibly promising, but there are definitely some security concerns worth watching: ⚠️ Prompt injection ⚠️ Tool poisoning ⚠️ Supply chain risks (looking at you 👀, npm) ⚠️ Authentication/authorization that aren’t yet fully mature There are also trade-offs between running MCP servers locally vs. remotely. Personally, I prefer a sandboxed environment for local runs - just to stay safe. Stay curious and hack responsibly💻
