Thread's mobile performance was around 82 when I launched it.
I ran a post-launch audit, worked through the issues it surfaced, fixed the ones that actually mattered, and tested the site again.

The useful part wasn't getting a higher number. It was seeing how much a proper audit could reveal after the design already felt finished.
