I have always struggled to define my profession in simple terms. Sometimes I illustrate, sometimes design a brand, other times I define UX patterns. If you are in the same situation, what term do you use? Multidisciplinary, full-stack designer, jack-of-all-trades?

@John Salinero I think it really depends on what you do more. For example, are you a brand designer who focuses on illustrated brands and logos? Or a product designer who also dabbles in branding? Personally, "full-stack designer" sounds a bit broad and almost too unreal. It might help to...

@Anita Autorino @John Salinero A 1000-watt light bulb can light up a room, but a 1000-watt laser can cut through steel. I'm basically saying it's very important to focus and niche down if possible and it should help you come up with creative names and descriptions of what you do to other people.
