This is actually a major merchandising and pricing flexibility upgrade inside Shopify Functions.
Shopify just introduced the ability for multiple product discounts to apply to the same cart line.
That means merchants can now combine:
• a seasonal promotion
• a VIP or loyalty discount
• a bundle incentive
• or even a market-specific offer
…all on the exact same product, with full control over how discounts stack and how they’re displayed to the customer.
Before this, merchants often had to choose between discounts competing against each other or build complicated workarounds.
Now developers can create far more sophisticated pricing logic directly through Shopify Functions, while keeping the experience transparent for buyers at checkout.
