ALIBI is a web-based noir interrogation game built for the Config Makeathon using Figma Make.
The idea came from a simple problem: memory games are useful, but they often feel dry and repetitive.
I wanted to explore how a clean memory challenge could be combined with the tension of a noir interrogation.
In ALIBI, players take the role of a suspect who has to memorize a fabricated alibi and then recall the right details under questioning.
Every correct answer keeps them calm, while mistakes, blanks, and slow responses push a suspicion meter higher.
Players can choose difficulty, case length, suspect alias, and interrogation room before starting a run.
During gameplay, ALIBI tracks suspicion, accuracy, speed, and answer streaks, and adds twists like fake evidence to deny, decoy questions, and the option to bribe the detective or stall for time.
At the end, players get a result screen with a Case Score as the main score, plus a radar chart of their skills and a saved case history.
I used Figma Make to design and build the working prototype, iterating through the interface, interrogation logic, result screen, and visual style directly from prompts and refinements.
