How i got the illustrations for Halo app. I had a direction in mind—dark themed, fluid, abstract in a sense, conveying a feeling of lightness, vastness of headspace etc. These are ambiguous for a reason. I wanted to be flexible with the implementation. This was the perfect case for using AI. I started with ChatGPT to create the first draft of images. Gemini wasn't giving me what I wanted at first, and I've found ChatGPT tends to get the starting point better. At least for me. Once I had images close to what I wanted, I switched to Gemini. Using the ChatGPT images as reference, I asked it to create the first illustration based on my original idea. From there, I used the same prompt for each new illustration: "Using the direction as before, generate an image of…" That's how I ended up with these illustrations (and more).
