This isn't for a project or anything, just me practicing i2v with AI.

Since I needed a theme for this practice session, what came to my mind is that, now ancient, meme: "I want AI to do my laundry and dishes so I can create poetry and art, not for AI to create poetry and art so that I can do laundry and dishes."

But this also made me think about AI's role in creative work and how people's (and my own) perception of it is gradually evolving.

We've gone through stages, from dismissing AI art as a gimmick, to ignoring its capabilities, to increasingly embracing it.

I still keep seeing arguments over whether AI-assisted artworks have a "soul," or does the absence of human struggle automatically classify it as "slop." But one thing is for certain - AI is here to stay, and it's up to us how we react to it.
