Heads Will Roll, but turned up a notch.
This is an upgraded version of my Rive-only slicing game, now with deeper gameplay systems, better performance, and a lot more chaos. Turn on your speakers for a gory experience 🩸
- Swipe direction now drives cut angle and collision logic
- Combo system with power-ups and score multipliers
- Wave-based progression that ramps up difficulty
- Object pooling for all elements, improving performance
- Procedural blood particles and wall splatters with drip effects
- Resolution-independent gameplay across screen sizes using virtual world space
All the logic was recreated using six scripts: game loop, physics, particles and splashes, game config and an easing library.

This is my entry for the Contra Kittl challenge.
Before AI, there was imagination.
For years, I used to spend hours in Photoshop, building worlds that existed only in my mind & imagination.
It lived in layered PSD files,
shared with a handful of people, forgotten in my hard drive.
Then came AI.
For the first time, my imagination doesn't just exist, it moves. It breathes. And now, the whole world can see it the way I always did.
"There are wonders in this world. For those with eyes to see them."
