This can be achieved in two ways: by manipulating the height and width, or by using transform scale(). The span tags will be positioned absolutely in all four corners. Using the transform scale() method is more performant, but for something like this, the difference is negligible.

The Relume Header 82 recreated in Framer but with lots of twists. Created a component with Workshop that allows connecting any frame on the canvas and expanding it on scroll. You can connect images, videos or other components to it.

Really like how the expansion feels purposeful rather than decorative. The interaction adds hierarchy + focus instead of just motion — that’s a subtle but important distinction.
