WIP preview of the "Rolling Donut Cafe" game I'm working on. The donut, world, frosting puddles, and shop are all scripted 3D elements. Nearly all of the game logic is scripted and I'm adding custom art with artboards where I can. I really like how the little donut joystick turned out! I'm designing this with multitouch in mind. Seems to work well on mobile Some next steps: 🍩 Add more customer characters and emotions/states. 🍩 Custom "action button" states that indicate what will happen. 🍩 Address donut price inflation. 🍩 Sound effects. Maybe music too. 🍩 Make the game harder and add penalties for failed orders. (As a Rive employee I am considering myself ineligible to win, but wanted to join in on the fun of the challenge.)
