• Initially, the content is locked but if you pet doggo with the just the right amount of love, you’ll unlock some goodies, yay!✨

• Once you’ve proven you’re definitely not a bot, if you keep petting him, doggo gets annoyed and tells you to move on with your life 😅.

On the technical side:

• Data binding handles all swipe event

• Converters interpret swipe direction and speed

• A progress-linked button in the main ViewModel shows exactly how close you are to unlocking access

• And of course, swipe events only count if you pet Doggo on the head (bots always get that wrong)

I originally built these animations many moons ago, back before Rive supported data binding. At that time, I had to rely entirely on the Flutter runtime to handle all swipe tracking.
