AI can generate an answer. But can it actually complete a booking?
Flight booking is a different challenge from building a normal AI chatbot.
The information isn't static.
Flights, availability, and booking-related data need to be retrieved from external systems — while the user still expects a simple conversational experience.
For QSTP, the goal was to build a fully AI-based flight booking system that could combine conversational interaction with live data and external integrations.
The approach brought multiple systems together, including:
→ Amadeus → Aviation Stack → Google SERP API → Shopify → HubSpot → Twilio → Google Workspace
The system also included a mobile chatbot with both chat and call capabilities, allowing users to interact with the booking experience conversationally.
The challenge wasn't simply connecting APIs.
It was designing the AI experience so that different systems could work together behind a single user interaction.
That's an important distinction when building AI products:
The real value isn't just making AI talk. It's making AI work with the systems that businesses already depend on.
