Prismatic Liquid Glass & Chromatic Streak — Built with invideo AI Timeline Agent
Custom Shader & Layer Build: Prismatic Liquid Glass Refraction with Anamorphic Streaks and Dynamic Typography Masking.
Starting Footage: High-contrast 9:16 vertical fashion footage featuring movement, sand, and typography overlays.
What I Asked the Agent to Do: Instead of applying a flat preset, I directed the invideo timeline agent to architect a custom 3-layer visual effect stack directly on the timeline:
Layer 1: Organic liquid glass refraction displacement combined with chromatic RGB color channel splitting.
Layer 2: A feathered elliptical subject protection mask to preserve subject sharpness.
Layer 3: Anamorphic highlight streaks and specular gleam keyed off bright luminance areas.
What I Refined Myself (v1 to v2 Direction): After the agent generated v1, we reviewed the initial pass and collaborated on precise refinements:
Refraction & Speed: Reduced Intensity down to 30 and dialed Speed to 0.65 to transform horizontal banding into smooth, molten liquid glass ripples.
Keyframed Subject Protection: Re-positioned and animated the mask Y-axis to protect the subject's legs in the opening second, tracking up to the torso/face during the jump.
Highlight Streaks: Dropped the luminance threshold to 68 to catch glints off the sand and specular rim light.
Clean Typography: Protected the native "LINEN LIFTS YOU" title layer from distortion, producing an editorial luxury fashion aesthetic. Before and After
